| Scope of Work: Brick Restoration, Spot Tuckpointing, Caulking, Chemical Cleaning, Stone Sealer. |

Problem: The building was experiencing stained stone and brick, deteriorated mortar joints, cracked and spalled brick, failed sealant joints and cracked stones.
Solution: 28 dormers were rebuilt, 100% tuckpointing in specific areas, resealed all capstone head joints, chemically cleaned all masonry and applied stone sealer to capstones. |

Recaulking of the stone belt band, 100% tuckpointing of the lower brick panel and a chemical cleaning were completed in this work area. |
|
|
The chimney required 100% tuckpointing, cracked/spalled brick were removed and replaced, stone head joints were sealed, brick and stone were chemically cleaned and a penetrating sealer was applied to the stone cap. |

Shown in these two photos is the cutting phase of the 100% tuckpointing work item on the dormers. |

After each dormer was chemically cleaned, a penetrating sealer was applied to the capstones to inhibit biological growth. |
