Scope of Work: Remove/Replace Sealant, Spot Tuckpointing, Penetrating Sealer.

Problem: Edgren and Bodien residence halls were experiencing moisture infiltration through the exterior building envelope. Failed sealant (caulk) joints and deteriorated mortar joints were contributing to this condition.

Solution: On this project, we removed and replaced the original sealants around the window perimeters and in the building’s vertical expansion joints. Spot tuckpointing was completed to address failed mortar joints. As a final step, a clear penetrating, breathable water repellent was applied to all exterior brick surfaces.
